About

Peter is a New York based filmmaker and artist with a passion for documentary. The co-director of ten independent films, including Working Horses, Peter Pan Bakery, and Under the Bus, Peter focuses on important, yet often overlooked issues told from intimate perspectives. His style is inspired by the realm of the fantastic; exploring the definition of reality and perceived truths.

Peter attended Keene State College for Film Production and has been working professionally in Film & Television since 2005 - specializing in writing, editing, and story producing.

Exploring the nature of cinema by breaking down the craft into standalone components: photography, motion pictures, painting, music, and the written word — Peter seeks to unlock the experience of ecstatic cinema, a viewing experience that challenges, delights, and sweeps up the audience in equal measures. Much of his work explores the realm of the fantastic, heavily influenced by the science-fiction, horror, and occult fantasy genres.

When not at work or in the studio, he enjoys life as an active plant-Dad, whittling away at an endless stack of books, practicing Toyama-Ryu Iaido, and researching Medieval and Historical Fencing manuscripts which he also teaches.
